Title: Oxa – Unlocking the Power of Self Driving Autonomy

Abstract:

Oxa is an autonomous vehicle software company that was founded by Professor Paul Newman, spun out of Oxford University’s Mobile Robotics Group (MRG) in 2014. Since then the company has grown from strength to strength through Series A-C investments, developing self driving autonomous software solutions for a multitude of applications including industry logistics, goods delivery, agriculture, mining/energy and passenger transport. In 2024 Oxa is now entering a new phase as they transition into a scale up company (~400 people and still growing), marked by the first commercial deployment of their Oxa Driver product in partnership with Beep, an autonomous shuttle provider. Stephen Barkby joins us today to give us a sneak peak into these new technologies and exciting times.
